Information on the existing professional liability insurance required under Sec. 54 WPO:
The professional liability insurance is held with R+V Allgemeine Versicherung AG, Raiffeisenplatz 1, 65189 Wiesbaden. The geographical scope of coverage includes activities in other European countries and Turkey, the assertation of claims before European and Turkish courts, as well as consultation, engagement, violation or non-compliance with European law including the law of Turkey.
The geographical scope of coverage extends to Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Russia, Belarus, Republic of Moldova, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Taijikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan with regard to assertation of compensation claims before courts.
In addition, the insurance coverage extends to the legal liability arising from business auditing activities in non-European countries or countries not mentioned above if the contract between FTI-Andersch Assurance GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft and its client is based solely on German law. In these cases, the insurer’s duty to perform shall be limited to the minimum sum insured prescribed by law.
